Terrail, space for ceramic and contemporary art, is an “Artist-run space” located in Vallauris, a city of ceramist in the South of France, created in 2019 by the artist Olivia Barisano.

Terrail aims to promote emerging artistic creation and particularly that of contemporary ceramics. It encourages connections between various practices by inviting artists in residence to discover, explore or deepen an approach borrowed from ceramics, in its most varied forms such as installation, performance, video, sculpture, painting, etc. or even photography.

Terrail also gives itself the mission, through the setting up of artistic and cultural events, to promote access to the worlds of creation for a variety of audiences. Terrail is particularly attached to the social dimension implied by the establishment of a contemporary art space in the heart of the city and wishes through its presence to develop a platform for exchanges between different actors of local and national cultural and social life, but also international.
