Musée muséum départemental des Hautes-Alpes
The Departmental Museum accompanies and reaches out to a wide audience. It organises visits with exhibition programmes, mediations and specific animations. It offers educational workshops and organizes artistic and scientific residencies.
It allows users to better understand the arts, culture and heritage. It activates the dissemination of contemporary works, representations of the major artistic trends of the last fifty years.
Its missions are in line with those of the Museums of France. They are divided into 3 main areas:
the inventory and conservation of collections, including the collection of heritage and the creation of new works of art.
information through training, mediation, dissemination and individual or group meetings
territorial anchoring with heritage, cultural, scientific and technical monitoring of shared and networked services and tools.
It takes into account the departmental dimension as a cultural agency.
