Created on the initiative of private individuals, Hélène and François Fincker, the MAISON ABANDONNÉE [Villa Cameline] was inaugurated in 2003.

Built at the beginning of the century, it was abandoned for about 15 years. Tagged, squatted, it is currently kept as is and the artists showing in it have to adapt to the peculiar environment at the extreme opposite of the White box

Its vocation is to promote the various forms of current creation through the presentation of temporary exhibitions.

For monographic exhibitions but also thematic projects, la MAISON ABANDONNÉE [Villa Cameline] invites independent curators and artists to explore the diversity of the current artistic research fields.

The objective is to provoke and offer experiences of art through the diversity of approaches, initiatives and practices.

With a rhythm of 3 to 5 each year, the events occur between the months of April and October.
