JEAN PAUL RIOPELLE – PERFUMES D’ATELIERS.

From 1 July to 12 Nov. / 1 Jul – 12 Nov. This exhibition explores the work of the immense Canadian artist as never before seen, thanks to her daughter’s curatorial office and numerous exclusive public and private loans from around the world. More than 180 works are presented, both flagship and unpublished works, offering a journey through the techniques used by the artist: painting, drawing, sculpture, lithography, collage, tapestry… A new approach, a journey into the heart of the works created in the various studios that Riopelle occupied on both sides of the Atlantic, moving easily from abstraction to the representation of a single bestiary.
