Haris Epaminonda was born in Nicosia, Cyprus in 1980.
She now works and lives in Berlin. Epaminonda works mainly with video and film, collage and installation in an extensive process of assembling and disassembling materials to reconstruct non-linear narratives . Since 2007 Epaminonda is developing an ongoing project together with german artist Daniel Gustav Cramer called ‘The Infinite Library’.
She has had solo shows at Tate Modern, London (2010), Schirn Kunsthalle, Frankfurt and Museum of Modern Art, New York (2011), Kunsthaus Zürich and Modern Art Oxford (2013) and most recently has exhibited in Venice at the Fondazione Querini Stampalia (2014). Epaminonda took part at the dOCUMENTA(13) in Kassel (2012), the 5th Berlin Biennale (2008) as well as the 52nd Venice Biennale co-representing Cyprus at the Cyprus Pavilion in Venice in 2007.
